What changes the monthly rate
Two vehicles from the same model year can quote differently. Mileage, engine type, four-wheel drive, and incomplete oil-change records all influence the offer.
Deductible choice is the other major lever. A lower deductible raises the monthly figure and reduces what you pay when a listed part fails. Advisors will show both sides on your quote.
- Current odometer reading and typical annual distance
- Remaining manufacturer powertrain or battery coverage
- Documented modifications to the engine or exhaust
- Commercial, rideshare, or heavy towing use if disclosed
Waiting periods and first claims
New enrollments include a waiting period stated in the contract. It exists so coverage begins after a cooling-off interval and after any pre-existing condition review.
If a warning light is already on when you request a quote, tell the advisor. We would rather inspect or delay enrollment than deny a claim that started before the contract.
Renewing clients who stay continuous may have waiting periods waived on the renewed assemblies. That benefit is one reason we send expiry reminders.
